Description

Tenovate GN Cream is a combination of Clobetasol and Neomycin. It is used externally to treat symptoms like swelling, redness and itching associated with various skin infections. It works by preventing or stopping the growth of microorganisms that are responsible for the infection. Tenovate GN Cream may cause some minor side effects like burning, itching and irritation at the site of application. However, these side effects are temporary and resolve with time. If you notice any severe allergic reactions (rashes, itching, swelling, shortness of breath, etc.), consult your doctor. Tenovate GN Cream should be applied after washing and drying the affected area. Apply a thin layer and do not cover it with a bandage or dressing, unless advised by your doctor. Do not touch or scratch the affected skin regions during therapy as this may spread the infection. Tenovate GN Cream should be used regularly. Finish the entire course of this medication to see its maximum benefits. If your condition does not improve or worsen, consult your doctor. Avoid any contact with your eyes, nose, or mouth. In case of accidental contact, thoroughly rinse it with water. Tenovate GN Cream interacts with other medicines. Therefore, inform your doctor if you are currently taking or have recently taken any other medications for the same or different conditions. This medicine should be used with caution if you are pregnant or are breastfeeding and only after consulting your doctor.

How it works

Tenovate GN Cream contains two medications, Clobetasol and Neomycin, which are used to treat bacterial skin infections. Clobetasol is a steroid medication. It inhibits the synthesis of specific chemical messengers (prostaglandins), which cause your skin to become red, swollen, and itchy. Neomycin is an antibiotic. It inhibits bacterial development by inhibiting the production of essential proteins needed by bacteria to perform vital functions.
