Description

Symbiotik-P Tablet is a combination medicine which may be used for treating a wide variety of bacterial infections of the lungs and airways, middle ear, sinuses, skin, urinary tract, bone, etc in patients who are prone to antibiotic-associated diarrhea. This medicine is not recommended for treating a common cold, flu, or other viral infections since it is not effective in treating these infections.

What is it prescribed for?

Ear Infection

This medicine may be used to treat infections of the middle ear caused by susceptible strains of bacteria in patients who are prone to antibiotic-associated diarrhea.

Nose Infection

This medicine may be used in the treatment of infections of the nose and nasal chamber caused by susceptible strains of bacteria in patients who are prone to antibiotic-associated diarrhea.

Throat Infection

This medicine may be used in the treatment of infections of the throat and airways leading to lungs namely Tonsillitis and Pharyngitis caused by susceptible strains of bacteria in patients who are prone to antibiotic-associated diarrhea.

Respiratory Tract Infection

This medicine may be used for the treatment of acute infections of the respiratory tract such as pharyngitis, sinusitis, bronchitis, pneumonia, etc. caused by susceptible bacteria in patients who are prone to antibiotic-associated diarrhea.

Osteomyelitis (Infection of bone)

This medicine may be used for the treatment of osteomyelitis, an infection of the bones caused by bacteria in patients who are prone to antibiotic-associated diarrhea.

Skin or soft tissue infection

This medicine may be used to treat bacterial skin and soft tissue infections characterized by symptoms such as fever with chills, redness around hair follicles, yellowish rash, and muscle pain.

Urinary Tract Infection

This medicine may be used in the treatment of infections of the urinary tract caused by susceptible strains of bacteria in patients who are prone to antibiotic-associated diarrhea.
