Description

Suminat 25 mg Nasal Spray is used to relieve symptoms of migraine headaches. It inhibits the substances that cause headaches and sensitivity to sound and light. It does not help in the prevention and reduction of frequent attacks of headaches. This medicine is not recommended in cluster headache since the safety and efficacy of use are not clinically established.

Uncontrolled hypertension

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a history of uncontrolled hypertension due to the increased risk of very high blood pressure and hypertensive crisis.

Peripheral vascular diseases

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known history of peripheral vascular diseases due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition.

Severe liver disease

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with severe liver disease due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition.

Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOI)

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOI) due to the increased risk of a life-threatening condition called Serotonin Syndrome. A time gap of at least 14 days should be maintained between stopping therapy with MAOIs and starting therapy with this medicine.

Hemiplegic or Basilar Migraine

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with hemiplegic or basilar migraine, due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition.

High cholesterol

Wolff-parkinson white syndrome

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome or arrhythmias due to the increased risk of life-threatening disturbances of the cardiac rhythm.

Use in children

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients less than 18 years of age since the safety and efficacy of use are not clinically established.

Driving or operating machinery

This medicine may cause dizziness or drowsiness in some patients. It is advised that you do not perform any activities that require high mental alertness like driving a vehicle or operating machinery if you experience any of these symptoms during treatment with this medicine.

Missed Dose
