Description
Stablanz Tablet is a combination of Betahistine, Ginkgo biloba and Vitamin D3. This medicine is used to treat vertigo (dizziness). Pressure in the ear causes a spinning sensation and a loss of body balance. This medicine improves blood flow and decreases pressure buildup in your ear.
Stablanz Tablet may cause some side effects like nausea, headaches, indigestion, constipation, etc. Inform your doctor if these side effects become severe or persist for a long period.
Stablanz Tablet can be taken with or without food. Take this medicine at the same time every day for ease of remembering and to avoid missing a dose. Do not stop taking it until you have finished the complete course, even when you feel better.
Stablanz Tablet is advisable to be taken after you inform your doctor about all your current medications and if you have any health conditions like liver, kidney or heart disease. Pregnant and mothers who are breastfeeding should consult their doctors before taking this medicine.

What is it prescribed for?
Vertigo
Vertigo is a dizzy feeling that occurs without any accompanying movement and is frequently caused by moving your head too quickly. Vertigo is most often caused by an imbalance or pressure build up in your inner ear, although it can also be caused by abnormalities in certain parts of your brain. Stablanz Tablet improves blood flow and decreases pressure buildup in your ear, thus helps in treating the symptom.

Allergy

Pheochromocytoma
Pheochromocytoma is a tumour of the adrenal gland (an organ above your kidneys) which is often associated with symptoms such as high blood pressure, increased heartbeat, sweating, and headache. Stablanz Tablet is not recommended if you are diagnosed with or have a history of pheochromocytoma. This medicine can worsen your condition.

Use in children

Gastrointestinal disorder
Stablanz Tablet may increase the risk of stomach ulcers. Inform the doctor if you have a history of peptic ulcer disease or any gastrointestinal disease. Drink an adequate amount of water to prevent stomach irritation.
Asthma
Stablanz Tablet should be used with caution if you have asthma as it may worsen your condition.
Missed Dose
If you forget to take Stablanz Tablet, take it as soon as you remember. If it is time for the next dosage then skip the missed dose. Do not double your dose to make up for the missed one.
Overdose
Never take more than the prescribed dose of Stablanz Tablet. In case of an overdose, seek immediate medical attention or consult your doctor.

How it works
Stablanz Tablet is a combination of Betahistine, Ginkgo biloba and Vitamin D3. Betahistine acts by improving blood flow in the inner ear, lowering ear pressure thus, prevents symptoms. Ginkgo Biloba improves blood flow to your brain and protects it from chemical damage (free radicals). Vitamin D3 is added because its deficiency may cause vertigo.
