Description
Stablanz-PV Tablet is a combination of Betahistine, Vitamin D3, Ginkgo Biloba, Piracetam and Vinpocetine. It is used to treat Meniere's disease which is an inner ear disorder and is associated with vertigo (spinning sensation of the head). It improves blood flow in your inner ear and protects your brain when there is lack of oxygen.
Stablanz-PV Tablet may cause some side effects like nausea, headache, indigestion, constipation,etc. Inform your doctor if these side effects become severe or persist for a long period.
Stablanz-PV Tablet can be taken with or without food. Take this medicine at the same time every day for ease of remembering and to avoid missing a dose. Do not stop taking it until you have finished the complete course, even when you feel better.
Stablanz-PV Tablet is advisable to be used after you inform your doctor about all your current medications and if you have any health conditions like liver, kidney or heart disease. Pregnant and mothers who are breastfeeding should consult their doctors before taking this medicine.

What is it prescribed for?
Meniere's disease
Meniere's disease is an inner ear disorder that can cause problems with hearing and balance. It also causes episodes of vertigo (spinning), tinnitus (ringing in your ears), hearing loss, and a feeling of congestion in your ear. This is due to fluid buildup in the inner ear. Stablanz-PV Tablet decreases fluid buildup and treats the symptoms. It may take a few weeks before you see any benefits, but continue taking it even if you feel better unless advised by your doctor.

Allergy

Pheochromocytoma
Pheochromocytoma is a tumour of the adrenal gland (an organ above your kidneys) which is often associated with symptoms such as high blood pressure, increased heartbeat, sweating, and headache. Stablanz-PV Tablet is not recommended if you are diagnosed with or have a history of pheochromocytoma. This medicine can worsen your condition.

General warnings
Use in children
Stablanz-PV Tablet is not recommended for use in children and adolescents below 18 years of age since safety and efficacy are not clinically established.
Gastrointestinal disorder
Stablanz-PV Tablet may increase the risk of stomach ulcers. Inform the doctor if you have a history of peptic ulcer disease or any gastrointestinal disease. Drink an adequate amount of water to prevent stomach irritation.
Asthma
Stablanz-PV Tablet should be used with caution if you have asthma as it may worsen your condition.
Driving or operating heavy machinery
Stablanz-PV Tablet may cause drowsiness and may impair your ability to drive vehicles or operate heavy machines. You are advised to refrain from performing tasks that require a high level of mental alertness.
Missed Dose
If you forget to take Stablanz-PV Tablet, take it as soon as you remember. If it is time for the next dosage then skip the missed dose. Do not double your dose to make up for the missed one.
Overdose
Never take more than the prescribed dose of Stablanz-PV Tablet. In case of an overdose, seek immediate medical attention or consult your doctor. Symptoms of overdose are tiredness, inability to urinate, dry mouth, fast heart rate, sweating and headache.

How it works
Stablanz-PV Tablet is a combination of Betahistine, Vitamin D3, Ginkgo biloba, Piracetam and Vinpocetine. Betahistine acts by improving blood flow in the inner ear, lowering ear pressure thus, prevents symptoms. Ginkgo biloba improves blood flow to your brain and protects it from chemical damage (free radicals).
Vitamin D3 is added because its deficiency may be a cause of Meniere's disease.
Piracetam works by improving the flow of blood and oxygen to your brain.
Vinpocetine may increase blood flow in your brain and protect the brain cells against injury.
