Episodes of crying for 3 or more hours each day, more than 3 days a week, with not accepting food could be a sign of infantile colic. It mainly occurs due to muscle contractions of hollow organs such as intestines, rectum, gallbladder, and ureter due to obstruction by forcing content out. This is a temporary condition and may also subside on its own. Spastone Drops is used to treat colic pain due to gastrointestinal discomfort in infants especially breastfeeding infants.
