Description

Sorvate C Ointment is a topical medication containing Calcitriol (vitamin D) and Clobetasol. It is used to treat psoriasis (rough, inflamed, and scaly patches of skin that may be itchy and painful). It works by slowing down the overproduction of skin cells that may build up and form scales. It also blocks the action of certain chemicals in your body that causes swelling, itching, and irritation. Sorvate C Ointment shows side effects like dry skin, redness, itching, or discomfort at the site of application. These side effects are usually mild and may subside by themselves. However, consult your doctor if they persist or become severe. Avoid using this medicine if you are allergic to it. Sorvate C Ointment should be used as instructed by your doctor. The dose and duration of treatment will be determined by your doctor based on your clinical condition. Do not apply more than the prescribed quantity of this medicine. This medicine is meant for use on the skin only. Avoid contact with your eyes, nose, mouth, and open wounds. In case of accidental contact, wash thoroughly with water. Sorvate C Ointment is not recommended for use in children below 12 years of age.
