Allergy

Bronchorrhea

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients suffering from bronchorrhea, a condition where there is an excessive production of watery mucus (bronchorrhea), since it may worsen the patient's condition.

Benign prostatic hyperplasia

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarged prostate) since it may cause increased difficulty in passing urine.

Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOI)

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOI) due to the increased risk of serious and life-threatening side effects. A time gap of at least 14 days should be maintained between stopping therapy with MAOIs and starting therapy with this medicine.

Neonates and premature infants

This medicine is not recommended for use in children under the age of 2 years.
