Description
Respicure Tablet is a combination of Caffeine, Paracetamol, Levocetirizine, and Phenylephrine. It is used to treat the symptoms of the common cold such as sneezing, runny nose, cough, watery eyes, and nasal congestion, etc. along with pain and fever.
Respicure Tablet may cause some common side effects such as sleepiness, diarrhoea, nausea, dryness in the mouth, dizziness, and headache, etc. Consult your doctor if these symptoms stay for a long time or if they become severe.
Respicure Tablet is not recommended if you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor if you have liver or kidney problems, high blood pressure, or diabetes. It is not recommended in children below 12 years of age. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or are breastfeeding.

Common cold is a viral infection of your nose and throat. The symptoms include sneezing, runny nose, sore throat, watery eyes, and nasal congestion, etc. Respicure Tablet is used to provide relief from the symptoms of common cold. It also reduces pain and fever.

Allergy

Severe kidney impairment
Respicure Tablet is not recommended if you have severe kidney problems with a creatinine clearance less than 10 ml/min as it may worsen your condition.

Pregnancy
Due to the lack of sufficient safety data in pregnant women, the risk to the developing foetus is not known. If you are pregnant, use Respicure Tablet only if prescribed by your doctor.
Breast-feeding
Respicure Tablet passes into breastmilk. Hence if you are breastfeeding, consult your doctor.
General warnings
Driving or operating machines
Respicure Tablet may cause dizziness or drowsiness. If you experience such symptoms, avoid driving vehicles or operating machines.
Other medicines
Respicure Tablet may interact with other medicines and increase the risk of side effects. Inform your doctor about all your current medicines including any herbs or supplements before beginning treatment with this medicine.
Chronic Malnutrition
Respicure Tablet should be used with extreme caution if you have chronic malnutrition (growth failure due to severe lack of nutrients) due to the increased risk of severe side effects.

Respicure Tablet is not recommended for use in children below 12 years of age due to a lack of safety and efficacy data.
Missed Dose
Try not to skip a dose of Respicure Tablet. Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is time for your next dose, skip the missed one. Do not double the dose to compensate for a missed one.
Overdose
Do not take excess dose than prescribed by your doctor. Contact your doctor immediately if you suspect an overdose with Respicure Tablet.

Benign prostatic hyperplasia
Respicure Tablet should be used with caution if you have an enlarged prostate (prostate gland is located below the urinary bladder in men) due to the risk of increased difficulty in passing urine. Inform your doctor if your symptoms worsen.

You may get a false-positive result for this test while taking Respicure Tablet. Inform your doctor and lab technician about all your current medicines including any herbs and supplements before undergoing any lab tests.
Take Respicure Tablet with or without food.

Avoid taking more or less than the prescribed dose.
Do not discontinue the use of Respicure Tablet without consulting your doctor.
Avoid consuming alcohol while taking Respicure Tablet, as it may cause severe drowsiness and dizziness. Do not drive vehicles or operate machines after taking this medicine, as it may reduce your alertness.
Consult your doctor if the symptoms do not improve within 7 days.

Respicure Tablet is a combination of Caffeine, Paracetamol, Levocetirizine, and Phenylephrine.
Caffeine increases the activity of your brain and nervous system. This helps in keeping you awake and alert.
Paracetamol works by preventing the formation of prostaglandin, the chemical responsible for pain and fever.
Levocetirizine works by blocking the action of histamine, a chemical substance in the body responsible for allergic symptoms. Thus, it provides relief from allergies.
Phenylephrine acts on the blood vessels in the nose and helps in relieving congestion.
