Uses of Proxym 200 mg Tablet ER

What is it prescribed for?

Osteoarthritis

Osteoarthritis (OA) is the most common form of arthritis or joint condition. A joint is where two bones are fitted together. In healthy joints, a protective tissue called cartilage covers the ends of bones and cushions them so we move easily. When a joint develops OA, this cartilage breaks down, so joint bones begin to rub against one another. This can cause pain, stiffness, and make it difficult to walk, stand or perform other activities. Proxym 200 mg Tablet ER is used to relieve pain and stiffness due to OA.

Rheumatoid Arthritis

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) happens when your body's immune system attacks the lining of your joints and damages other parts of the body. RA is a symmetrical form of arthritis where the same joints on both sides of the body are affected. This helps to distinguish RA from osteoarthritis. Proxym 200 mg Tablet ER is used to relieve swelling and pain in the joints due to RA.
