Description

Proctosedyl bd Cream is a combination of Beclomethasone, Phenylephrine and Lidocaine. It is used in the treatment of haemorrhoids (piles) and anal fissures (a small painful tear in the lining of the anus) as it relieves pain, swelling, or itching associated with such conditions. This medicine is also used to relieve pain and swelling after haemorrhoid surgery (a surgical procedure to remove piles). Proctosedyl bd Cream rarely shows side effects like burning sensation, itching, redness, or irritation at the site of application. Consult your doctor if any of these side effects do not resolve with time. Proctosedyl bd Cream should be used as prescribed by your doctor. Clean and dry the affected area before applying this medicine. Wash your hands before and after using this medicine. Avoid getting it into your eyes or mouth. If accidental exposure occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. Proctosedyl bd Cream is not recommended for use if you are allergic to it.
