Description

Pipzo 4.5 Injection is a combination of Piperacillin and Tazobactam. It is used for the treatment of bacterial infections that affect the lungs, urinary tract, skin, etc. This medication is effective only for the treatment of infections caused by bacteria and not viruses. Pipzo 4.5 Injection is effective against a large number of bacteria. Piperacillin works by preventing the formation of bacterial cell walls and killing the infection-causing bacteria. Tazobactam protects Piperacillin and ensures extended anti-bacterial activity. Pipzo 4.5 Injection may cause some common side effects such as diarrhoea, upset stomach, headache, sleeplessness, skin rash and itching, etc. Consult your doctor if these symptoms persist or if they become severe. Pipzo 4.5 Injection is given by your doctor in a clinic or a hospital setting. The dose and duration of the treatment will depend on your condition. Follow the instructions given by your doctor and continue receiving the medicine for the prescribed duration. Not completing the full course of therapy may result in decreased effectiveness of the medicine or an increased risk of re-infection that would be difficult to treat in the future. Pipzo 4.5 Injection is not recommended if you are allergic to it. This medicine is not advisable for children below 2 years of age. Inform your doctor if you have any kidney/liver problems or a history of seizures (fits) before starting treatment with this medicine. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or are breastfeeding.
