CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE

Description

Pentotas D Tablet is a combination of Domperidone and Pantoprazole. It is used in the treatment of peptic ulcers (sores in the stomach that form due to excess acid) and gastroesophageal reflux disease (a condition where the stomach acid flows back into the food pipe and damages it). These conditions lead to symptoms such as heartburn, discomfort in the stomach, vomiting sensation, and difficulty in swallowing food. Pentotas D Tablet reduces the sensation of nausea and decreases the production of stomach acid. Thus, it helps to heal ulcers. Pentotas D Tablet shows some common side effects like headache, dry mouth, stomach pain/discomfort, diarrhoea, and dizziness. Consult your doctor if these side effects bother you. Pentotas D Tablet should be taken one hour before your meal. The dosage and duration of this medicine will be decided by your doctor. You should take this medicine for the complete duration prescribed by your doctor. If you stop this medicine early, your symptoms may come back or your condition may worsen. Pentotas D Tablet may interact with other medications. Inform your doctor if you have liver, kidney, heart, and/or bone problems and if you are taking any medications. Do not take Pentotas D Tablet if you are allergic to it. This medicine may cause dizziness. Do not drive or operate heavy machines while you are taking Pentotas D Tablet. Pentotas D Tablet is not recommended for children below 12 years of age due to limited safety and efficacy data.
