Description

Pantop-D Capsule is a combination of Domperidone and Pantoprazole. It is used in the treatment of peptic ulcers (sores that occur on the lining of your stomach and the upper region of your small intestine) and gastroesophageal reflux disease (a condition where the stomach acid flows back into the food pipe and damages it). These conditions lead to symptoms such as heartburn, discomfort in the stomach, vomiting sensation, and difficulty in swallowing food. Pantop-D Capsule reduces the sensation of nausea and decreases the production of stomach acid. Thus, it helps to heal ulcers. Pantop-D Capsule shows some common side effects like headache, dry mouth, stomach pain/discomfort, diarrhoea, and dizziness. Consult your doctor if these side effects bother you. Pantop-D Capsule should be taken one hour before your meal. The dose and duration of treatment will be decided by your doctor. You should take this medicine for the complete duration prescribed by your doctor. If you stop this medicine early, your symptoms may reappear or your condition may worsen. Pantop-D Capsule should be avoided if you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor if you have liver, kidney, heart, and/or bone problems, or if you are taking any medications. Pantop-D Capsule is not recommended for use in children below 12 years of age due to limited safety and efficacy data. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, or are breastfeeding before taking this medicine.
