Description

Pantanam 40 MG Tablet is an anti-ulcer medicine. It is used to treat various stomach and intestinal conditions that may occur due to excess production of acid. These conditions include peptic ulcers (open sores on the walls of the stomach, small intestine, and food pipe), erosive esophagitis (swelling of the food pipe), and gastroesophageal reflux disease (a condition where the stomach acid flows back into the food pipe). Pantanam 40 MG Tablet reduces excess acid production in your stomach and relieves the symptoms such as heartburn, inability to swallow food, stomach pain, and vomiting. Pantanam 40 MG Tablet shows side effects like nausea, vomiting, headache, stomach pain, watery stools, and dizziness. These side effects are mild and subside by themselves. Consult your doctor if these side effects worsen or last for a long time. Pantanam 40 MG Tablet should be taken preferably one hour before a meal. The dosage and duration of taking this medication will be decided by your doctor. If you take Pantanam 40 MG Tablet for heartburn, it may take 1-2 days to control your symptoms. However, if your condition does not improve in a few days, consult your doctor to know the underlying reason. Pantanam 40 MG Tablet should not be used if you are allergic to it. It is not recommended for use in children below 5 years of age. Inform your doctor if you have liver and bone problems. If you take Pantanam 40 MG Tablet for a longer duration, use it with caution as it may decrease the magnesium level in your body and/or increase the risk of bone fracture. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, or are breastfeeding.
