Ovalife Met Tablet is a combination Myo-Inositol, D-Chiro-Inositol, Metformin, L-Methylfolate and Methylcobalamin/Mecobalamin. It is used for treating Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). It is a medical condition that occurs due to hormonal imbalance in females. This medicine improves hormone balance and leads to regular ovulation and menstrual cycles (periods) in PCOS. Ovalife Met Tablet can cause side effects like nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, headache etc. Most of these are temporary and resolve on their own. Consult your doctor if these side effects are persistent or worsening. Ovalife Met Tablet is usually taken with food to avoid any stomach irritation. Take this medicine at the same time every day to maintain the same level of medicine in your body. Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor as your symptoms could reoccur. Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a condition in which the ovaries produce an abnormal amount of androgens (male sex hormones), that are usually present in women in small amounts. The name polycystic ovary syndrome describes the numerous small cysts (fluid-filled sacs) that form in the ovaries. This hormonal imbalance may lead to diabetes (high blood sugar levels). Ovalife Met Tablet helps the insulin to work better, therefore managing diabetes associated with PCOS and pregnancy.
