Description

Novamox CV (400/57 mg) Syrup is a combination of Amoxycillin and Clavulanic acid. Novamox CV (400/57 mg) Syrup is used to treat bacterial infections of the lungs and airways, middle ear, sinuses, skin, teeth, and urinary tract. It is also used to treat multidrug-resistant Tuberculosis. This medicine is generally meant to be used in children. However, your doctor may prescribe this medicine to you if you cannot swallow the tablet or capsule. Novamox CV (400/57 mg) Syrup shows common side effects like nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, and skin rash. Usually, these side effects are self-limiting. Consult the doctor at the earliest if any of these side effects persist or bothers your child. Before giving this medicine to your child, inform your doctor if your child is allergic to any antibiotics. Novamox CV (400/57 mg) Syrup can be given to your child with food as it improves absorption and decreases the risks of stomach upset. Your child's doctor will decide the dose and frequency based on the severity of infection, body weight and age of your child. Also, ensure that you complete the course of treatment even if your child starts feeling better after taking a few doses. Sinusitis

Sinusitis is the swelling of membranes that line the nose and surrounding sinuses. It is often caused by bacteria and sometimes, viruses and fungi. It is characterized by a stuffed nose and pain or pressure behind the eyes, nose, cheeks, or forehead. Novamox CV (400/57 mg) Syrup is used to treat bacterial sinusitis in children.

Lower respiratory tract infection

Novamox CV (400/57 mg) Syrup is used to treat Pneumonia and Bronchitis in children. Pneumonia is an infection of the air sacs in the lungs (either single or both lungs). It can be bacterial and viral. This medicine is used to treat pneumonia caused by bacteria. Bronchitis is the swelling and irritation of bronchial tubes that regulates air passage in the lungs. It is used to treat bronchitis caused by bacteria.

Skin infections

Skin and soft tissue infections occur when the bacteria invade the skin and its supporting structures. Novamox CV (400/57 mg) Syrup is used to treat all skin infections including abscesses caused by bacteria in children.
