Description

Nimulid 200 MG Tablet ER is a painkiller that contains Nimesulide. It provides relief from fever and mild to moderate pain due to menstrual cramps (pain during menstruation) and osteoarthritis (pain on movement due to wearing of the protective covering at the ends of the bones). Nimulid 200 MG Tablet ER decreases the intensity of pain signals to your brain and also prevents the release of substances called prostaglandins (compounds in your body made of fats that have a chemical messenger like effects) in your brain that cause pain and fever. Nimulid 200 MG Tablet ER may cause side effects like nausea, vomiting, heartburn, stomach pain, loss of appetite, and diarrhoea. Consult your doctor if these side effects persist. Avoid driving vehicles and operating machines after taking this medicine as it can cause dizziness. Nimulid 200 MG Tablet ER should be taken with food to avoid stomach irritation. For the ease of remembering, take it at around the same time every day. Nimulid 200 MG Tablet ER relieves pain and swelling due to arthritic conditions but does not cure it. Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor as your symptoms may reoccur. Nimulid 200 MG Tablet ER is not recommended for use in children below 12 years of age. Use it cautiously if you have liver and/or kidney problems. It should not be used for a prolonged period due to the risk of severe liver damage. Consult your doctor before using this medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
