Instructions
Consumption of alcohol is not recommended during treatment with Nebistar-SA Tablet due to the increased risk of side effects such as dizziness, lightheadedness, irregular heart rate, and fainting. It is advised that you do not perform any activities that require high mental alertness such as driving vehicles or operating machines if you consume alcohol during treatment with this medicine.
Interaction with Medicine
Disease interactions
Nebistar-SA Tablet should be used with caution if you have asthma as this medicine may worsen the condition.
Nebistar-SA Tablet should be used with caution you have Diabetes mellitus due to the increased risk of altered blood glucose levels.
Nebistar-SA Tablet should be used with caution if you have glaucoma (angle-closer glaucoma). Symptoms include acute onset of decreased visual acuity or ocular pain and typically occur within hours to weeks of drug initiation.
Nebistar-SA Tablet should be used with caution if you have hyperlipidemia (high levels of fat in the blood). It may increase cholesterol and triglyceride levels.
Nebistar-SA Tablet should be used with caution if you have hyperthyroidism as it may mask the symptoms of hypothyroidism like tachycardia (increased heartbeat). Moreover, the abrupt withdrawal of Nebistar-SA Tablet may aggravate the symptoms of this condition.
Nebistar-SA Tablet should be used with caution if you have known or suspected pheochromocytoma (tumour of the adrenal gland).
Food interactions
Consumption of grapefruit juice is not recommended during treatment with Nebistar-SA Tablet due to the increased risk of hypotension (low blood pressure). You may experience dizziness, headache, swelling of hands and feet, etc.
