General warnings

Eye irritation

Ensure that the medicine does not come in contact with your eyes. This medicine may cause severe eye irritation. In the case of accidental contact, the eyes should be rinsed with water immediately and thoroughly.

Clostridium difficile associated diarrhea

Antibiotic therapy will cause an imbalance in the normal microbial flora of the large intestine, which may promote the growth of a bacteria called Clostridium difficile and you may experience severe diarrhea as a result. Report any such incidence to the doctor on priority and avoid usage of this medicine in such cases.

Local irritation

This medicine may cause severe local irritation. Replacement with a suitable alternative should be done under your doctor's supervision.

Use in children

This medicine is not recommended for use in children less than 12 years of age since the safety and efficacy of use are not clinically established

Intranasal use only

This medicine is intended for intranasal use only. Avoid contact with the eyes or open wounds.
