Description

Mox P 500 Tablet is a combination medicine used for treating a wide variety of bacterial infections of the lungs and airways, middle ear, sinuses, skin, urinary tract, etc in patients who are at high risk of antibiotic-associated diarrhea. This medicine is not recommended for treating a common cold, flu, or other viral infections since it is not effective in treating these infections.

What is it prescribed for?

Ear Infection (Otitis Media)

This medicine may be used to treat infections of the middle ear caused by Streptococci and Staphylococci strains of bacteria.

Nose Infection (Sinusitis)

This medicine may be used in the treatment of infections of the nose and nasal chamber caused by Streptococci and Staphylococci strains of bacteria.

Throat Infection (Tonsillitis/Pharyngitis)

This medicine may be used in the treatment of infections of the throat and airways leading to lungs, namely Tonsillitis and Pharyngitis, caused by Streptococci and Staphylococci strains of bacteria.

Lower Respiratory Tract Infection

This medicine may be used in the treatment of infections of the airways leading to the lungs. The infections can be Pneumonia, acute bronchitis, or others caused by Streptococci and Staphylococci strains of bacteria.

Skin and Skin Structure Infection

This medicine may be used in the treatment of infections of the skin and skin structures caused by Streptococci and Staphylococci strains of bacteria.

Urinary Tract Infection

This medicine may be used in the treatment of infections of the bladder (Cystitis) and kidneys (Pyelonephritis).

How it works
