Unwanted hair growth
This medicine may cause unwanted growth of hair on the face, arms, and back in some patients. Patients should inform the doctor if there is excessive growth of unwanted hair. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be necessary in some cases based on the clinical condition of the patient.
Temporary shedding of hair
This medicine may cause temporary shedding of hair at the beginning of the treatment. This shedding is due to the growth of new hair at the place of old hair and subsidies in a couple of weeks. The treatment should be discontinued if the shedding persists.
Topical use
This medicine is only meant to use topically on the scalp. Do not swallow the medicine. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, nose or any other parts of the body.
Changed skin tone

How it works
Minoxidil works by improving the blood circulation in the scalp and stimulate hair growth and slows the hair loss. Azelaic acid interferes with certain processes that help in slowing down the loss of hair. It also regulates the production of keratin to promote hair growth. Saw palmetto prevents the formation of dihydrotestosterone (DHT) that is responsible for hair loss.
