Description

Methimez 10 Tablet is used for the treatment of hyperthyroidism, a condition where the thyroid gland produces an excessive amount of thyroid hormones. It is also used to relieve the symptoms of hyperthyroidism before thyroid surgery or radioactive iodine treatment. This medicine works by inhibiting the secretion of thyroid hormones, thus reducing its level. Methimez 10 Tablet can cause side effects like nausea, vomiting, back pain, cough, etc. Most of these are temporary and resolve within some time. Consult your doctor if these side effects persist or worsen. Methimez 10 Tablet is taken with food to avoid stomach discomfort. Take this medicine at the same time every day to maintain a constant level of medicine in your blood. Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor as your symptoms could reoccur. Surgeries
