Lactobacillus is used in the treatment of diarrhoea (a condition with the presence of loose, watery stools). This medicine restores body-friendly bacteria in your intestines, prevents the growth of infection-causing microbes and helps treat diarrhoea. Lactobacillus is not known to cause any side effects. However, consult your doctor if you experience any undesired effects. Lactobacillus should be taken exactly as directed by your doctor. Take it at the same time every day to maintain a constant level of this medicine in your body. Lactobacillus should be avoided if you are allergic to it.
