Description

Lacotide 50 Tablet is an anticonvulsant used either alone or in a combination with other medicines for the treatment of seizures (a burst of uncontrolled electrical activity between brain cells causing jerking movements or fits). It controls seizures (fits) by decreasing the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain. Lacotide 50 Tablet causes side effects such as tiredness, loss of appetite, body ache etc. Consult your doctor if these side effects are getting persistent or worsening. Avoid activities like driving vehicles or operating machines as this medicine can make you dizzy. Lacotide 50 Tablet can be taken with food to avoid stomach irritation. Take this medicine at the same time every day to maintain a constant level of medicine in your body. Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor as your symptoms may reoccur. Lacotide 50 Tablet is not recommended if you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor about your current medications and existing medical conditions. This will help your doctor to adjust your dose for avoiding side effects. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before using this medicine.
