Ivecop AB Tablet is a combination medicine which may be used for the treatment of parasitic infections in the intestine and skin caused by tapeworms, pinworms, hookworms, etc. This medicine is not recommended for use if you are known allergic to it.

What is it prescribed for?
Strongyloidiasis
This medicine may be used in the treatment of strongyloidiasis which is an intestinal infection caused by a roundworm called Strongyloides stercoralis characterized by abdominal pain and diarrhea.
Onchocerciasis
This medicine may be used in the treatment of onchocerciasis which is a parasitic worm infection caused by Onchocerca volvulus transmitted through the bite of black flies characterized by skin itching and vision impairment.
Cutaneous Larva Migrans
This medicine may be used in the treatment of hookworm infection of the skin.
Lymphatic Filariasis
This medicine may be used in the treatment of lymphatic filariasis, which is a human parasitic disease that affects the lymph nodes and lymph vessels, characterized by acute episodes of local inflammation involving the skin, lymph nodes, and lymphatic vessels, etc.
Hydatid Disease
This medicine may be used in the treatment of Hydatid disease or Echinococcosis caused by larva of dog tapeworm.
Neurocysticercosis
This medicine may be used in the treatment of neurocysticercosis, which is a tapeworm infection affects the brain, muscle, and other tissues, caused by the larval form of tapeworm Taenia solium.
Giardiasis

How it works
Albendazole works by disrupting certain vital functions in the worm's body. This drains the worm's energy and eventually kills it.
