Description

Iopromide is an X-ray contrast agent for intravascular use. It gives radiographic visualization of the internal structures and hence used for many intra-arterial and intravenous procedures.

Severe cutaneous adverse reactions

Use of Iopromide may cause severe cutaneous adverse reactions including Stevens-Johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis, etc. in some patients.
