Description

Histacure Cold Tablet is a combination of Levocetirizine, Phenylephrine and Paracetamol. It is used to treat the symptoms of common cold such as sneezing, runny nose, cough, watery eyes, nasal congestion, etc. along with pain and fever. Histacure Cold Tablet shows side effects such as sleepiness, diarrhoea, nausea, dryness in the mouth, dizziness, headache, etc. Consult your doctor if these symptoms stay for a long time or if they become severe. Histacure Cold Tablet may be taken with or without food as advised by your doctor. In case of a missed dose, take it as soon as you remember, provided it is not time for the next dose. Do not double the dose to make up for the missed one. Histacure Cold Tablet is not recommended for use if you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor if you have liver or kidney problems, high blood pressure, or diabetes. It is not recommended for use in children below 12 years of age. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or are breastfeeding.

You may get a false-positive result for a 5-HIAA urine test while taking Histacure Cold Tablet. Inform your doctor and/or lab technician about all your current medicines including any herbs and supplements before undergoing any lab tests.
Take Histacure Cold Tablet with or without food. Do not break, chew or crush the tablet. Avoid taking more or less than the prescribed dose. Avoid the discontinuation of Histacure Cold Tablet without consulting your doctor. Avoid consuming alcohol while taking Histacure Cold Tablet, as it may cause drowsiness and dizziness. It may also increase the risk of liver damage. Do not drive vehicles or operate machines after taking this medicine as it may reduce your alertness. Histacure Cold Tablet is a combination of Levocetirizine, Phenylephrine and Paracetamol. Levocetirizine works by blocking the action of histamine, a chemical substance in your body responsible for allergic symptoms. Thus, it provides relief from allergies. Phenylephrine acts on the blood vessels in the nose and helps in relieving congestion. Paracetamol works by preventing the formation of prostaglandin, the chemical responsible for pain and fever.
