Description

Halox S Lotion is a topical medicine composed of Ulobetasol and Salicylic acid. It is used to treat psoriasis (a skin condition that causes red, itchy scaly patches, most commonly on the knees, elbows, trunk, and scalp). This medicine works by reducing the production of chemical substances that cause swelling and itching. Halox S Lotion can cause side effects like exfoliation of skin (removal of dead skin) and redness at the site of application. Most of these side effects are temporary and resolve on their own. However, consult your doctor if these side effects persist or worsen. Halox S Lotion is for external use only. Apply this medicine as directed by your doctor. Do not stop using it without consulting your doctor, as your symptoms may reoccur or worsen. Halox S Lotion is not recommended for use if you are allergic to it and in children below the age of 18 years. Do not use this medicine for other skin conditions without consulting your doctor. Inform your doctor about all your current medicines and pre-existing medical conditions. This will help your doctor to adjust the dose and avoid undesired effects. If you are pregnant or are breastfeeding, consult your doctor before using this medicine.
