Gencephal-CT Tablet is a combination medicine which may be used along with other medicines for the treatment of acute stroke. This medicine is not recommended for use in patients less than 18 years of age.

This medicine may be used along with other medicines for the treatment of an acute stroke, a condition characterized by a sudden disruption of blood supply to an area of the brain and injury to the brain cells.

Severe renal impairment
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with severe renal impairment (CrCl < 20 ml/min) due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition.
Cerebral hemorrhage
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known history of localized bleeding in the brain due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition.
Huntington's disease
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients suffering from Huntington's disease, a genetic disorder where the brain cells die quickly, causing a deterioration of mental and physical abilities over time.
Hypertonia
This medicine is not recommended for use in patients suffering from abnormal muscle tension and stiffness due to nerve damage in the brain. This condition may also be present in patients who have had a brain surgery to remove certain specific nerves.
