Description

Fine-1 1 mg Tablet is a medicine that contains Finasteride. It is used in the treatment of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (enlargement of the prostate gland) and male-pattern baldness (loss of hair on the scalp in men). A higher dose of 2.5mg and 5mg is used in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia in men. The lower dose of 1mg is used in the treatment of hereditary hair loss in men, also called male-pattern baldness. Your doctor will determine the suitable dose and duration of treatment for each indication based on your clinical condition. Fine-1 1 mg Tablet may cause side effects like dizziness, abnormal ejaculation, low sexual desire, depression, etc. Consult your doctor if these side effects bother you for a longer time or worsen. Avoid taking this medicine if you are allergic to it. Fine-1 1 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food as instructed by your doctor. Take this medicine at the same time every day for the ease of remembering and better results. Do not take more than the prescribed dose. Avoid discontinuing this medicine without consulting your doctor. Fine-1 1 mg Tablet is not indicated for use in women and children. Inform your doctor if you have any other health problems or taking any other medications before starting the treatment.

Hair loss

Male pattern baldness, also called androgenic alopecia, is the most common type of hair loss in men. It is characterised by gradual thinning of the hair on the topmost part of the head. This medicine at a dose of 1mg is used in the treatment of hereditary hair loss in men.
