Ferric Citrate

Description

Ferric Citrate is used to control the phosphorus levels in patients suffering from chronic kidney disease, undergoing dialysis. It helps to treat iron deficiency anemia associated with chronic kidney disease in patients who are not on dialysis. This medicine is also be used for the treatment and prevention of iron deficiency anemia when the amount of iron taken in from the diet is not sufficient.

Use in elderly population
