Description

Famolet 40 MG Gelatin Coated Tablet is a very effective medicine that is used to reduce the amount of acid produced in the stomach. It is used to treat and prevent stomach ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and other acidity related disorders. It also relieves indigestion and sour stomach due to excess acid production in the stomach.

What is it prescribed for?

Gastric and duodenal ulcers

This medicine is used to treat ulcers of the stomach (Gastric) and small intestine (Duodenal). It is also used to prevent ulcers caused by stress.

Erosive Esophagitis

This medicine is used for the treatment of Erosive Esophagitis (inflammation and swelling of the lining of the esophagus) caused due to an excess amount of acid secretion.

Gastroesophagal Reflux Disease

This medicine is used in the treatment of reflux disease, where acid from the stomach enters and irritates the food pipe (esophagus).

Hypersecretory Condition

This medicine is used to prevent and treat conditions where the amount of acid secreted in the stomach is abnormally high.

Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome

This medicine is used to treat a condition where an excessive amount of acid is produced in the stomach due to tumors in the small intestine.

Dyspepsia
