Description

Dosetil Lotion is a topical medicine that consists of Desonide. It is used to treat swelling and itching associated with various skin conditions like eczema (thick, dry, and itchy skin), psoriasis (dry and itchy skin with scaly patches), dermatitis (skin irritation), etc. Dosetil Lotion works by blocking the action of certain substances that cause swelling, redness, and itching. Dosetil Lotion may cause some side effects such as stinging, burning sensation, irritation, or redness at the site of application. These side effects are usually mild and may subside by themselves. However, consult your doctor if they persist or worsen. Dosetil Lotion is meant for external use only. Before applying Dosetil Lotion, clean the affected area with water and pat dry it. Apply a thin layer of the lotion over the affected area and spread evenly. Do not apply more than the prescribed quantity of this medicine. Avoid contact with the eyes, nose, mouth, and open wounds. Wash thoroughly with water in case of accidental contact. Dosetil Lotion is not recommended if you are allergic to it or if you have a viral, bacterial, or fungal infection of your skin. Inform your doctor if you have any other medical conditions or if you are using any other medications to make sure this medicine is safe for you.
