Description

Dolomec MF Plus Syrup is a combination of Mefenamic acid and Paracetamol. It is used to reduce fever, swelling and pain in children above six months of age. It decreases the intensity of pain signals to the brain and also prevents the release of substances called prostaglandins (compounds in the body made of fats that have a chemical messenger like effects), that increase pain and body temperature. Dolomec MF Plus Syrup may cause side effects like diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting and sweating. These side effects are temporary and resolve with time. Consult your child's doctor if the symptoms become severe. Dolomec MF Plus Syrup should be used as prescribed by your child's doctor. Shake the bottle well before using and avoid giving additional doses for quick relief. It should be given after food as this reduces the likelihood of stomach pain. If your child vomits within 30 minutes of taking this medication, you may repeat the dose. Dolomec MF Plus Syrup may not be suitable for all children. Inform your child's doctor if there are any medical conditions of the heart, kidney, liver or bleeding troubles related to your child. This will help the doctor in planning the overall treatment.
