Description

Coliwin-NF Drops is used to manage flatulence (accumulation of gas in the stomach) and relieve the symptoms like stomach discomfort, cramps, and bloating in children below two years of age. This medicine breaks down gas bubbles and allows easy passage of gas. Coliwin-NF Drops has mild side effects like nausea and constipation. These side effects subside by themselves. Consult your doctor if these symptoms bother your child or worsen. Avoid using this medicine if your child is allergic to it. Coliwin-NF Drops should be given with food or milk before bedtime. Give these drops to your child in the dose and duration prescribed by your doctor. Do not give more than the prescribed dose as it may lead to severe side effects. Coliwin-NF Drops may not be suitable for all children. Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor about your child's complete medical history, including kidney or liver problems if any, and all your child's ongoing medication.

What is it prescribed for?

Infantile colic

Infantile colic or baby colic is a condition of intense crying or irritability in a well-fed, healthy baby. Episodes of crying for 3 or more hours each day, more than 3 days a week, with the refusal of feeding could be a sign of infantile colic. This is a temporary condition and may also subside on its own. Coliwin-NF Drops is used to treat colic pain due to stomach discomfort in infants especially breastfed infants.

Give Coliwin-NF Drops as advised by your child's doctor. Never give more than the prescribed dose. Shake the bottle well before use. Use the dropper to administer this medicine. Coliwin-NF Drops is given for short time only. Complete the whole treatment even if your child feels better after a few doses. Keep this medicine away from children and pets. Do not use this medicine after the expiry date. Throw away the unused medicine safely after their expiry date. Do not give Coliwin-NF Drops for more than 2 weeks unless directed by the doctor. Consult your child's doctor if your child's symptoms are not improving.
