Description

Colicaid Drops is used to manage flatulence (accumulation of gas in the stomach) and relieve the symptoms like stomach discomfort, cramps, and bloating in children below two years of age. This medicine breaks down gas bubbles and allows easy passage of gas. Colicaid Drops has mild side effects like nausea and constipation. These side effects subside by themselves. Consult your doctor if these symptoms bother your child or worsen. Avoid using this medicine if your child is allergic to it. Colicaid Drops should be given with food or milk before bedtime. Give these drops to your child in the dose and duration prescribed by your doctor. Do not give more than the prescribed dose as it may lead to severe side effects. Colicaid Drops may not be suitable for all children. Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor about your child's complete medical history, including kidney or liver problems if any, and all your child's ongoing medication.

Infantile colic

Infantile colic or baby colic is a condition of intense crying or irritability in a well-fed, healthy baby. Episodes of crying for 3 or more hours each day, more than 3 days a week, with the refusal of feeding could be a sign of infantile colic. This is a temporary condition and may also subside on its own. Colicaid Drops is used to treat colic pain due to stomach discomfort in infants especially breastfed infants.
