Description

Ciplox TZ H Tablet is an antibiotic medicine containing ciprofloxacin and tinidazole. This medicine is used to treat infections affecting various parts of your body like the lungs, stomach, intestines, genital and urinary tract. Ciplox TZ H Tablet works by stopping the growth of and killing the infection causing microorganisms by interfering with their DNA formation. Ciplox TZ H Tablet may cause side effects like diarrhoea, stomach pain, headache, weakness, change in taste, nausea, and vomiting. Consult your doctor if these side effects get worse or persist. Ciplox TZ H Tablet may also cause dizziness. Hence, avoid activities that require your mental focus like driving vehicles or operating machines. Avoid taking this medicine if you are allergic to it. Ciplox TZ H Tablet should be taken after food as advised by your doctor. Take this medicine around the same time every day for the ease of remembering. Complete the whole treatment to avoid anti-bacterial resistance (a condition where microbes evolve mechanisms that protect them from the effects of antibiotics). Ciplox TZ H Tablet is not recommended if you have any conditions like tendonitis (swelling of fibres that attach bone with muscles) or myasthenia gravis (severe weakness of the muscles). This medicine can make birth control pills less effective. Your doctor may recommend a different birth control method to prevent unintended pregnancy while on treatment with this medicine. Ciplox TZ H Tablet is not recommended for use in children below 18 years of age. Inform your doctor if you have any liver or kidney problems. Let your doctor know about all your ongoing medicines as well, as they can interact with this medicine and may cause side effects. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before taking this medicine.
