Description
Cianmol Plus Tablet is a combination medicine that consists of Aceclofenac, Paracetamol and serratiopeptidase. Cianmol Plus Tablet is used to treat pain, stiffness, and swelling at joints due to ankylosing spondylitis (a type of arthritis that causes lower back pain affecting the spine and large joints), osteoarthritis (a type of arthritis that occurs when flexible tissue at the ends of your bones wears down) and rheumatoid arthritis (an autoimmune disorder affecting many joints, including those in the hands and feet). It is also used to get relief from headaches, toothaches, backaches, menstrual pain, sprains, and strains. This medicine blocks the release of a chemical that causes pain and swelling.
Cianmol Plus Tablet shows side effects like nausea, vomiting, heartburn, stomach pain, loss of appetite, and diarrhoea. Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to it. Cianmol Plus Tablet may also cause dizziness and drowsiness. Do not drive or operate machines if you feel drowsy or dizzy after taking this medicine.
Cianmol Plus Tablet should be taken with food, milk, or an antacid to avoid stomach irritation. Cianmol Plus Tablet relieves pain and swelling due to arthritic conditions but does not cure it. Do not self-medicate or use it beyond the prescribed duration.
Cianmol Plus Tablet should be used with caution if you have a history of stomach or intestinal bleeding, asthma, and severe heart, liver and kidney problems. Inform your doctor if you have a history of any medical condition and your current/previous medication. This medicine may affect the development of your foetus. If you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or a breastfeeding mother, consult your doctor before taking this medicine.

Swelling and pain
Inflammation or swelling is a very common condition in everyone that occurs as part of your body's immune response to protect the body from infection, injury, or disease. Cianmol Plus Tablet works by the breakdown of proteins that are present at the site of the swelling and by blocking certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause fever and pain. Hence it is used to relieve swelling and pain associated with conditions due to muscle injury, post-surgery, joint conditions, etc.
Rheumatoid arthritis
Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) happens when your body's immune system attacks the lining of your joints causing swelling and pain at joints. In RA the same joints on both sides of the body are affected. This helps to distinguish RA from osteoarthritis. Cianmol Plus Tablet is used to relieve swelling and pain in the joints due to RA.
Osteoarthritis
Osteoarthritis (OA) is the most common form of arthritis. It occurs when the protective cartilage that cushions the ends of your bones wears down over time. Cianmol Plus Tablet is used to relieve pain and stiffness due to OA.
Ankylosing spondylitis
Ankylosing spondylitis (AS) is a type of arthritis that primarily affects the spine and causes some of the small bones to fuse. Cianmol Plus Tablet is used to relieve stiffness and pain (especially in the lower back, hip, and pelvis) associated with ankylosing spondylitis.

Bleeding disorders

Missed Dose

Overdose
Never take Cianmol Plus Tablet more than the prescribed dose. If you suspect that you might have taken an overdose of this medicine, go to the emergency department of your local hospital.

Long term use of Cianmol Plus Tablet can damage your stomach and intestine. Any symptom indicating ulceration and bleeding like chronic indigestion, the appearance of coffee coloured dry blood in stools or blood vomiting should be reported immediately to your doctor.
Kidney diseases
Prolonged use of high doses of Cianmol Plus Tablet may cause kidney problems, such as painful urination and protein or blood in the urine. Hence, your kidney functions need to be closely monitored.

5-HIAA Urine Test
5-HIAA urine test measures the amount of serotonin in your body. Cianmol Plus Tablet can interfere with urine test and may give a false-positive result. Inform your doctor and lab technician about all your current medicines before undergoing any lab test.
Take Cianmol Plus Tablet with or after food to avoid stomach irritation. Drink adequate water for easy swallowing. Never take more than the prescribed dose.
It may cause dizziness and sleepiness. Do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how Cianmol Plus Tablet affects you.
Avoid consuming alcohol when taking Cianmol Plus Tablet as it may cause excessive drowsiness and increase the risk of liver damage.
