Description

Cetrolix 0.25 mg Injection is used along with other hormonal medicines such as human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) in women who are under fertility treatment (controlled ovarian stimulation) for preventing the release of a premature egg from the ovary. Use of this medicine in pregnant women is not recommended.

What is it prescribed for?

Prevention of premature ovulation in women undergoing controlled ovarian stimulation

Cetrolix 0.25 mg Injection is used in combination with hCG analogs for preventing the release of a premature egg from the ovary, thus enhancing the chances of getting pregnant.

    The effect of this medicine can be observed within 1 hour of administration of the 3 mg dose and within 2 hours of administration of the 0.25 mg dose.

    Cetrolix 0.25 mg Injection remains active in the body for 24 hours after a 0.25 mg dose and for 4 days after a 3 mg dose.
