Description

Cetcip 10 MG Capsule is an anti-allergic medicine. It is used to treat common allergy symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, itchy throat, itchy/watery eyes, and skin rash. It works by blocking the action of a chemical substance that causes allergic symptoms and provides relief from allergies. Cetcip 10 MG Capsule may cause some side effects such as sleepiness, diarrhoea, nausea, dry mouth, dizziness, headache, etc. Consult your doctor if these symptoms stay for a long time or if they become severe. Cetcip 10 MG Capsule can be taken with or without food. Finish your entire course of treatment with this medicine, even if the condition gets better after taking a few doses as abrupt discontinuation may recur the symptoms. Cetcip 10 MG Capsule is not recommended in children below 12 years of age. This medicine may interact with other medications. Hence, inform your doctor about all the medicines you are taking and also about any medical condition that you have. Avoid taking this medicine if you are allergic to it. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before taking this medicine.

Allergic rhinitis is a common condition that occurs due to a response of your immune system to external factors like allergens. It is commonly called hay fever. The usual signs and symptoms of allergic rhinitis are stuffy or runny nose, itchy and watery eyes, sneezing and sometimes swelling in the eyes. Cetcip 10 MG Capsule is used in treating symptoms of allergic rhinitis.

Allergic skin conditions

The symptoms of allergic skin conditions are hives (itchy, painful eruptions that sting), redness, rash, swelling and itching etc. These can be seen as a response of your immune system to allergens. Cetcip 10 MG Capsule is used to treat symptoms of allergic skin conditions.

Other Medicines

Cetcip 10 MG Capsule may increase the risk of sleepiness and impaired thinking when taken with medicines that have a sedative or tranquillizing effect. It is advised that you inform the doctor about all your current medicines including any herbs or supplements before beginning treatment with this medicine.

Elderly

Cetcip 10 MG Capsule should be used with caution in the elderly due to the increased risk of side effects. Your doctor may suggest close monitoring along with appropriate dose adjustments, or replacement with a suitable alternative based on the clinical condition.

Use in children

Cetcip 10 MG Capsule is not recommended for use in children less than 12 years of age since the safety and efficacy of use are not clinically established.

Missed Dose
