Description

Candirid 1% Powder contains Clotrimazole that is used to treat and prevent fungal infection. It is used in conditions like athlete's foot (itchy white patches between the toes), jock itch (red, itchy and ring shapes rash around the groin), ringworm (red, itchy, circular-shaped rash with clear skin in the middle), diaper rash, etc. This medicine treats the infection by damaging the protective layer of the fungus. Candirid 1% Powder shows some side effects like redness, skin irritation, itching and swelling at the site of application. Most of these side effects are temporary and get resolved with time. However, if any of these side effects do not resolve with time or worsen, seek a doctor's consultation at the earliest. Avoid the use of Candirid 1% Powder if you are allergic to it. Candirid 1% Powder should be dusted uniformly in and around the affected area. Clean and pat dry the affected area before using this medicine. Avoid covering with a bandage or cloth unless directed by your doctor. Avoid getting it into your eyes, nose or mouth. If accidental exposure occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Candirid 1% Powder should be used regularly to get the most benefit from it. Do not use more than you need as it may cause increased side effects.
