Description

Candid-B Lotion is a combination of Clotrimazole and Beclomethasone. It is a topical medicine used to treat fungal skin infections. It works by stopping the growth of the fungi. It also blocks the action of certain chemicals responsible for swelling and redness. Candid-B Lotion can have side effects like rashes, blistering of the skin, irritation or burning sensation at the application site, etc. These side effects usually go away on their own. Consult your doctor if these side effects persist or worsen. Your doctor may perform a patch test (a small area of the skin is exposed to the medicine to determine if it causes an allergy) before starting the treatment to see if this medicine suits you. Candid-B Lotion is for external use only. Apply a thin layer over the infected skin. Keep it away from your eyes, nose, mouth, etc. Rinse with water immediately if the medicine comes in contact with these areas. It may take a few days or weeks for your condition to get better. Therefore, complete the whole treatment to prevent re-infection. This medicine is not recommended to treat skin infections not caused by fungi. Candid-B Lotion is not recommended for use if you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor if you are using any other topical medicines or have any other skin conditions.
