Description

Biogesic-P Syrup is a medicine containing Nimesulide and Paracetamol. It is used in the treatment of pain and fever in children. It is also used to provide relief from headaches, toothaches, sprains, and strains. It works by blocking pain signals to the brain and preventing the release of prostaglandins (chemical substances in the body that cause pain, swelling and fever). Biogesic-P Syrup causes some side effects like nausea, vomiting, heartburn, stomach pain, loss of appetite, and diarrhoea. Consult your doctor if these effects persist or bother your child. Do not use this medicine if your child is allergic to it. If your child vomits Biogesic-P Syrup within 30 minutes, give the same dose again, unless it is time for the next dose. Biogesic-P Syrup should be given with food to avoid stomach irritation. For the ease of remembering, give it at around the same time every day. Biogesic-P Syrup should be given in the exact dose as prescribed by your doctor. Do not stop using this medicine even if your child feels better after receiving a few doses as abrupt discontinuation may worsen the condition of your child. Biogesic-P Syrup should not be used for a long time due to the risk of severe liver damage. Inform your doctor if your child has any kidney problems. Consult your doctor if your child seems to have an allergic reaction after using this medicine.
