Description
Beboxia 25 H Tablet is a combination of Hydrochlorothiazide and Metoprolol. It is used for the treatment of high blood pressure when a single medicine is not effective. It helps in reducing the risk of future heart complications such as heart attack (blockage of heart muscles due to the formation of plaques) and stroke (brain damage that occurs when the blood flow to a part of the brain is reduced or interrupted). Beboxia 25 H Tablet helps in relaxing the blood vessels, thereby controlling high blood pressure.
Beboxia 25 H Tablet may cause common side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, nausea/vomiting, slow heart rate, fatigue, diarrhoea/constipation, etc. Consult your doctor if these symptoms persist or worsen.
Beboxia 25 H Tablet can be taken with or without food. For ease of remembering, take it around the same time every day. Avoid taking more or less than the recommended dose. You may have to take this medicine for the long-term depending on your condition. Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
Beboxia 25 H Tablet should be avoided if you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor if you have a history of diabetes or pre-existing lung, liver, kidney, or heart problems before beginning treatment with this medicine. Heart diseases
Beboxia 25 H Tablet is not recommended if you have a history of severe heart problems such as sinus bradycardia (slow heart rate), sick sinus syndrome (a condition that may result in irregular heartbeats), decompensated heart failure, and cardiogenic shock (conditions where your heart is unable to supply enough blood to your body), blocked blood vessels, as this medicine may worsen your condition.

Sports
Beboxia 25 H Tablet is a combination of Hydrochlorothiazide and Metoprolol, both of which are prohibited for use while participating in certain sports. Liver Disease

Hyperlipidaemia
Hyperlipidaemia is a condition with high blood lipid (cholesterol/fat) levels. Beboxia 25 H Tablet may further increase your blood cholesterol levels and should be used with caution if you have hyperlipidaemia.
Electrolyte abnormalities
Beboxia 25 H Tablet is commonly associated with loss of electrolytes (potassium, sodium, chloride, bicarbonate, magnesium), which may increase your risk of arrhythmia (irregular heartbeat) and heart attack. Inform your doctor if you experience any signs and symptoms of fluid or electrolyte imbalance such as dryness in your mouth, thirst, weakness, drowsiness, restlessness, muscle cramps, low blood pressure, decreased urine output, irregular heartbeat, nausea, vomiting, etc. Your fluid and electrolyte abnormalities need to be corrected before beginning treatment, and blood pressure needs to be monitored periodically.
Systemic Lupus Erythematosus
Systemic Lupus Erythematosus is a condition in which your body's immune system attacks your tissues and organs. Symptoms may include skin rash, fever, fatigue, joint pain, etc. Beboxia 25 H Tablet should be used with caution if you have this condition as this medicine may worsen your symptoms.
Kidney Disease
Beboxia 25 H Tablet should be used with caution if you have pre-existing kidney problems due to its reduced effectiveness. Since this medicine is eliminated by kidneys it may also increase your risk of severe side effects, resulting from the accumulation of this medicine in your body.
Myasthenia Gravis
