Bambuterol is a bronchodilator medicine that is used to relieve symptoms such as wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, breathing difficulties, coughing, etc. associated with asthma. It is used either alone or in a combination with other medicines for the regular treatment of asthma and other breathing problems. This medicine is not recommended for use in patients suffering from an acute attack of asthma.
