Description

Armotraz 1 mg Tablet is an anticancer medicine. It is used to treat early breast cancer in postmenopausal women (women who have not had their menstruation for an entire year marking the end of the menstrual cycle). It is used alone or along with other treatments, such as surgery or radiation therapy. Armotraz 1 mg Tablet is used as a first-line treatment for breast cancer that has spread within the breast or to other parts of the body in women who have attained menopause. It is also used to treat advanced breast cancer that has worsened even after Tamoxifen treatment (a medicine used to treat breast cancer). Armotraz 1 mg Tablet works by lowering the level of estrogen (a type of sex hormone in women) in the body. As a result, the growth of breast cancer cells is stopped or delayed. Armotraz 1 mg Tablet may cause some side effects like weakness, headache, sweating, stomach pain, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, hair thinning, depression, dizziness, loss of appetite, etc. Consult your doctor if these side effects persist or worsen. Avoid taking this medicine if you are allergic to it. Armotraz 1 mg Tablet is available on prescription in tablet form. It can be taken with or without food. It is recommended that you take it at the same time every day for the ease of remembering and better results. Your doctor will decide the dose and duration of treatment based on your clinical conditions. Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor, as it may worsen your condition. Avoid taking more than the recommended dose as it may cause undesired effects. Armotraz 1 mg Tablet is not recommended for use if you are still having periods. It should only be taken by women who are no longer having menstruation. Inform your doctor if you have heart problems, high cholesterol levels, osteoporosis (weak and brittle bones), or any other medical conditions. It is not recommended for use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
