Description
Aptimust Syrup is a combination of Cyproheptadine, Tricholine, and Sorbitol. It is used to increase appetite (hunger) and relieve constipation. It works by reducing the effect of a chemical messenger in your body that is responsible for the decrease in appetite.
Aptimust Syrup has some side effects like nausea, headache, muscle weakness, dry mouth, nose, and throat. These side effects may subside by themselves. Consult your doctor if they bother you for a longer time or worsen. Avoid using the syrup if you are allergic to it.
Aptimust Syrup is to be taken in the dose and duration prescribed by your doctor. Do not take more than the recommended dose. Take it every day at the same time for the ease of remembering and better results.

Allergy

Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOI)
MAO inhibitors are a class of medication used to treat depression. Isocarboxazid, Phenelzine, Selegiline are a few examples. Aptimust Syrup is not recommended for use if you are receiving therapy with MAO inhibitors due to the increased risk of serious side effects.
Symptomatic Prostatic Hypertrophy
Symptomatic Prostatic Hypertrophy is a condition of enlargement of the prostate gland (it produces fluid to nourish and transport sperm) in men. Aptimust Syrup is not recommended for use if you have this disorder as it may worsen your condition.
Elderly patients
Aptimust Syrup is not recommended for use if you are an elderly and debilitated (very weak) person due to the increased risk of serious side effects.
Peptic Ulcer

Aptimust Syrup can cause drowsiness and affect your ability to drive vehicles or operate heavy machines. Avoid such activities as long as you are taking this medicine.
Dehydration or electrolyte abnormalities
Aptimust Syrup should be used with extreme caution if you have dehydration or electrolyte abnormalities as it may worsen your condition. If you experience any symptoms such as dizziness, weakness, fainting, etc, inform your doctor immediately.

Diabetes mellitus is a condition in which there is an increase in your blood sugar levels. Aptimust Syrup should be used with caution if you have diabetes mellitus because it may increase the sugar levels in your blood.
