Description

Alkem Cold Suspension is a combination of Cetirizine, Paracetamol, and Phenylephrine. It is used to treat common cold symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, cough, watery eyes, and nasal congestion, etc. in children. It also relieves fever associated with the common cold. Alkem Cold Suspension may cause some common side effects such as diarrhoea, nausea, dryness in the mouth, and headache. This medicine may cause dizziness or sleepiness in some children. Inform your child's doctor if your child feels dizzy or sleepy after taking this medicine. Seek your doctor's consultation if these side effects do not resolve with time or worsen. Avoid giving this medicine to your child if he/she is allergic to it. Alkem Cold Suspension can be given with food to your child to avoid an upset stomach. Your child's doctor will decide the dose and duration of this medicine based on the severity of your child's medical condition. If the treatment is stopped early, the symptoms may reoccur and your child's condition may worsen. Alkem Cold Suspension should be used with caution if your child has any problems related to the liver, kidney, heart or asthma. This medicine may interact with other medicines.
