Description
Accu-Chek Instant Test Strips are used for checking blood sugar levels. It helps in the management of diabetes. It is used in conjunction with a glucometer to allow you to test your blood sugar levels at home. It is simple to use and hassle-free. It gives accurate and quick findings without the need to see a doctor or diagnostic centre.
Directions for use
- Before pricking for a drop of blood, wash and dry your hands well
- The arrows and green square of the strip should face upwards when inserted into the blood glucose test metre. When inserting the strip, do not bend it
- Prick the side of your fingertip with the lancet needle to obtain a drop of blood, massage gently towards your fingertip, and place the blood drop to the middle of the green square
- In 5 seconds, you will get your blood sugar levels displayed on the meter and remove the test strip from the meter.
Storage
Keep the test strip out of reach of children. Do not refrigerate.
Precautions
- Never share a strip with other person and never use the strip that has been used by someone else
- Do not press your finger while taking the blood sample
- Discard the strip after single use.
